These crispy rice paper bites are great for an appetizer for your next event or just as an afternoon snack. The tuna mixture is seasoned with Oaktown's delicious Chile Limón seasoning, fresh lime juice, and other delicious additions. Every bite is coated with tang, a bit of spice, and so much flavor!
Ingredients
4 sheets rice paper
5 oz canned tuna
1 Persian cucumber, diced
2 mini bell peppers, finely diced
1 1/2 tablespoons pickled red onions, finely chopped
Heat a pan filled with at least 2 inches of neutral oil until it reaches around 375 degrees.
Working in batches, drop a few pieces of rice paper into oil at a time. They should fry up within 1-2 seconds. Remove and let excess oil drain.
In a small bowl, combine tuna, cucumber, bell peppers, onion, cilantro, olive oil, lime juice, soy sauce, Chile Limón, salt and pepper. Mix well together.
When ready to serve, spoon the mixture onto each rice paper bite. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
