Suns out, it’s tea time! Make this citrusy sun-tea with zippy omani lime, vibrant hibiscus and earthy lemongrass. Lightly sweetened with honey and grapefruit juice, this is a great non-alcoholic summer sipper!

Ingredients

  • 6 cups water, room temperature

  • ¼ cup Oaktown Spice Shop Citrus Hibiscus Twist Tea
  • 2 cups grapefruit juice
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 grapefruits, peeled and sliced
  • 4 to 5 leaves fresh basil

Directions

  1. In a large pitcher or 2 quart container, combine the water and Citrus Hibiscus Twist Tea (or add the tea to tea bags). Cover with a lid or plastic wrap, and place the pitcher in a sunny place for 1 to 2 hours until a vibrant pink color, stirring occasionally.

  2. Use a strainer to remove the loose leaf tea, and place in a pitcher (if not already in one). Add the grapefruit juice, honey, sliced grapefruit and basil.

  3. Serve over ice, or chill in the refrigerator before serving. Refrigerate for up to 3 days.
